I have been going to the Secret Garden for almost three years and I have never been happier. The salon is by far the best there is in Staten Island and in the whole city in general! I have really, really curly hair and I have had difficulty dealing with it my entire life. Once I went to Lisa at the salon, she transformed my hair! She showed me how to use the Deva products for curly hair and now my hair looks professionally styled every time I curl it! Not only does the Secret Garden carry the amazing Deva product line, but they also carry hair transforming Blow products. These products are all healthy, organic products, (as all products at this green salon are), and allow your blowout to last for over a week, while protecting it from all kinds of damage ranging from heat to the elements! Along with these amazing styling products, Lisa also introduced me to organic coloring and Hi Shine glazes that leave my hair soft for months after I color it! For all you curly haired girls out there, you know what a challenge it is to keep your hair soft, and not dried out but Lisa can do it! As a curly haired girl herself she knows exactly how to take care of your locks with the gentlest, professional touch while also educating you on the dangers and advantages of certain products and services. Lisa has done wonders for my hair; she has taught me how to handle my hair in ways I never thought I could do by myself and her blowouts are better than anything that any salon in NYC has to offer! Go to the Secret Garden and ask for Lisa and I can PROMISE and GUARANTEE that you will never go anywhere else for any of your hair needs!

I do LOVE the Secret Garden Salon! ?…….Ok so today I was the most blessed girl in the world! I had the Detox package (dry brushing, massage, sauna) with Teresa who definitely has healing hands!! Then off to pedicure in private room on a comfy massage chair for the royal jelly pedicure with AMY and she also did my manicure. Amy is is not only a brilliant technician, but super gentle and sweet. Then off to my absolutely gorgeous blowout with LISA and amazing scalp massage by Nicole when she washed my hair. This Garden is Not Just for women – Justin Hendelman

It has been very difficult for me to find a good barber/hair stylist. I have finally found a home at the Secret Garden with Tara! she made me feel very comfortable and cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. I also absolutely love the products she recommended to me, the Aveda line for men; In particular the grooming clay which I use daily, it is not greasy nor does it make white flakes in my hair and I don’t have to reapply it throughout the day. The shaving cream and aftershave is a godsend! I had a really bad razorburn that made my face swollen…within an hour of applying the Aveda aftershave it was gone and my skin was smooth and calm. I love that the products here are not full of chemicals and irritants, as I have very sensitive skin. I also recommend the experienced nail techs who gave me an amazing pedicure!! It was so relaxing and the leg/foot massage was out of this world. Robert,the massage therapist is awesome! I went to him for an hour massage with a sauna session to follow. Robert tailored the massage to pay special attention to the areas that I had the most discomfort in. The sauna was so serene and a great way to release toxins and tension. I highly recommend the Secret Garden, as you can tell I am hooked. It is a place not only for women! The staff is professional, personable and on time. The salon and spa are always clean and inviting. You are missing out if you have not been here yet!
